I was at the annual three day annual IFI Family Festival over the weekend. Each of the days has a different theme and lots of activities for children and adults to get involved with. This year started with an aviation based day, and the star of the show for me, was James, a twenty year old Golden Eagle, who you were able to pet! Saturday was Science themed and Sunday was themed around Shakespeare. They had a pop up cinema that was representative of the Globe Theatre in London, which was showing Shakespearean cartoons. Clara Murray from RTE Jnr is the patron of the Family Festival, which is a great event to bring the children to.
