A visit to Russborough is always an enjoyable way to spend a morning or afternoon. The Palladian building is just outside of Blessington in Wicklow. You can go on a tour of the House, or try your luck in the maze, go for a walk around the grounds, have a look at the Artisian products made on the grounds or, visit the National Bird of Prey Centre. Did I also mention that there is a Fairy Trail, and if your really lucky, you might see a Fairy! There are also sheep dog displays. The history of the house and the families that lived there is fascinating.
I got quiet lost in the maze on Sunday, which is always fun. Russborough is well worth a visit, if you are looking for something to do at the weekend, or if you have visitors from overseas.
