The IFI held a sold out screening of ‘Rocky Road to Dublin’, as part of the Documentary Festival in September. The Q&A involved Blindboy from the Rubberbandits and Paul Duane to discuss this film.
The conversation that followed was lively and thought provoking, as to how far Irish Society has come in 50 years. Blindboy was a great asset to the evening’s discussion.
It was a pleasure to meet one of the children who featured in the film, as well as the family of the film maker.
If you get the opportunity to view this film, I would recommend it, as it shows you and Ireland that looks very different to the one that we know now.
