Saturday the 4th of August this year is Diana Day, where you are encouraged to grab a Diana camera or a Diana clone and shoot some film, then you can upload your photos over the rest of August using the hashtag #dianaday. This is the second time that Diana Day has been celebrated in an effort to foster the use of analogue cameras. There is a range of Diana cameras and her clones, they are cheap plastic cameras with a plastic meniscus lens, with minimal controls. This is a fun event and I am looking forward to taking part, it is great to see people post photos of their cameras and their choice of films as well as talking to other participants. I will go into more details on Diana cameras in a separate post. There is a link included to the Lomography Diana page in their store.
