The Irish Blog Awards (sponsored by Alcatel) were held in Tramline on D’Olier Street, Dublin last night, this years theme was Day of the Dead. Attendees were encouraged to dress up, I had entered into the spirit of the evening by using face paints, however, I was unable to get the design I was using to work, so I washed it off before I left the house. There was a warm welcome for people arriving at Tramline and a number of people available to help you get some selfies. The ticket price included one meal, three drinks and a goody bag. The host for the evening rattled through the many categories involved, with the blog details popping up on screens around the venue, which I found very informative, as it was tricky to hear the host. It seems to have been a well attended event and I very much enjoyed getting to talk to some of the other Bloggers. My blog was not placed, but, I was thrilled to get this far, congratulations to Foxglove Lane who was the winner of our group. Thank you to the organisers for all the work they put into this event.
