An Evening by the Liffey

In mid December a friend of mine and myself went into town to take some photos of the Christmas lights. We spent some time by the River Liffey in and around the Samuel Beckett Bridge area. The photos below are from the Custom House (top), the Samuel Beckett Bridge (last three). The area around the Samuel Beckett Bridge is the most photographed area in Dublin, which is crazy given how recently this Bridge and the Convention Centre have been added to the Quays. Most of these photos were taken with some level of long exposure, with my camera either sitting on walls or on my friends’ tripod, because I didn’t bring mine. I have just remembered that I wanted to shoot this with Cinestill 800T, but, I forgot to bring that too. I will bring it next time I am shooting that area.
