Liffey Descent 2019

The photos below were taken today at the Weir in Lucan. This has become an annual trip to watch the Liffey Descent Canoe Race with Offshoot Photographic Society. This year there was more water than last year, so the boats were able to go over the high drop, one boat went across the steps too, but after him, the Marshalls seemed to be telling people not to do that, as the water level was dropping. It is always a good event to go to. There is a photo of another photographer who a couple of serious lenses, one of which he had sticking across his shoulder.
