98FM brought a 230 Foot Waterslide to Christchurch at the end of July and it looked like a lot of fun. Over the proceeding couple of weeks, the Radio Station had ran a competition for people to be able to win a pair of wristbands, that granted access for use of the waterslide.
The waterslide came with red rubber rings for participants to use. The Irish Village Market was on site, so that people could have some refreshments or food, if they wished.
The event seemed very well organised and the people taking part appeared to be having fun. The weather that day was overcast but warm, so it was a good day for an event like this one.
