1916 Exhibition

Stephens Green Shopping Centre is currently holding a great 1916 Exhibition on the Top Floor at the front of the building. It has a series of ten paintings that used to be housed in the the GPO, as well as other prints that are all for sale.

It felt odd looking over Stephen’s Green, knowing that some of the events of the Rebellion took place there, and now when you look out, you are over looking Luas Cross City Building Work.

I first saw the sign for the Exhibition last weekend, so I had to go and have a look at it. It may not be the biggest exhibition you have ever seen, but, it is well put together and run entirely by volunteers.

The Exhibition may be closing soon, as the Shopping Centre may need the space for another function, but, at the moment, both the Exhibition and the Shopping Centre are enjoying the collaboration.
