Another place I frequently visit is Powerscourt Gardens in Enniskerry. When the gardens were originally been set out one of the gardens the designers used as inspiration was Versailles, having been to Versailles, I can see the influence in Powerscourt. The house and gardens have a long and fascinating history, which intertwines with some of the biggest events in the area. Some of my favourite elements in the Gardens are the Japenese Gardens, the Pepperpot Tower, and the Mossy Grotto, there are many interesting parts to this garden and is well worth a visit. These gardens are incredibly popular and have been named as the worlds third best garden by National Geographic. I may write a longer, more historically based post on these gardens in the future.
